According to The Korea Times, BABYMONSTER will return with a digital single titled “DESERVE” on October 23, 2026. YG Entertainment announced the release on Wednesday, October 14, four months after the group’s last release. The single arrives during the group’s 2026-27 world tour, “CHOOM.”
The song is a slow-tempo track that blends soft, delicate vocals with powerful, explosive moments that build to an emotional peak. The teaser poster is black and white, with blurred title lettering on a torn-paper style background. The look is more vintage and raw than the group’s earlier dreamy teasers, which points to a different mood for this comeback.
YG chief producer Yang Hyun-suk said that, despite its slow pace, the song carries more intense energy than any track the group has released so far. He also confirmed that a full-length album is in the works and is targeted for early next year.
BABYMONSTER debuted in 2024 under YG Entertainment as a seven-member girl group. “DESERVE” is the fifth track the group has heavily promoted in 2026. Earlier releases this year include the third EP “CHOOM,” “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,” which came out on June 8, “I LIKE IT,” and “MOON.”
The release date also falls on the same day as BLACKPINK’s Lisa and her EP “PRESS PLAY,” which is already covered on this site. You can read our earlier story on Lisa’s EP here: Lisa sets October 23 for her new EP PRESS PLAY.
