According to Sports Khan, NMIXX is set to release its sixth mini album, Strange Muse, on October 19, 2026, with the official release scheduled for 6 p.m. The JYP Entertainment girl group announced the comeback on September 21, and the release marks the latest step in a busy run for the act.
The album contains six tracks. The title song, Long Wish (Birthday Wish), leads a lineup that also includes Kerosene, RudE TaLK, You Are the Moon (Sing to the Moon), Hot ‘n Unbothered, and Whoosh (WHIP). The mix gives listeners a range of moods within a single short release, from the bright title track to several songs with a sharper edge.
Before the album arrived, the group built up interest with a teaser for a new song with a dreamy mood. Concept photos and a trailer followed, adding to fan curiosity about what the full release would sound like and how the group would present its new concept.
The comeback also follows a strong stretch for the group. At the 2026 The Fact Music Awards, NMIXX took home Artist of the Year, My Star Award, and Sound of the Year. Those wins show how the group has grown its audience since its debut, and they set high expectations for this new mini album.
Mini albums are a common format in K-pop because they let groups release a focused set of songs between full-length projects. For fans, a six-track release often means more time with the title song and a chance to explore the smaller tracks that show a group’s range. Listeners can stream the songs on major platforms once they are live, and fans who want physical copies should check local retailers for availability and pricing.
Strange Muse is one of the busiest K-pop releases this October, and the group’s fan base is expected to follow the launch closely. Fans can keep up with NMIXX’s latest updates through the group’s social accounts as the release date approaches.
