According to OtakuKart, EMP, the unit made up of ZEROBASEONE members Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook, is preparing “RUN”, its first digital single, with the Korean hip-hop duo Dynamicduo. The track was scheduled to go live on November 4 at 6 p.m. KST, and the unit first teased the project on October 24.

The teaser moment came at the 2026 Seoul Runners Festival at Yeouido Park, where the unit performed the song as a pre-release performance. That early live appearance gave fans a first listen to the collaboration weeks before the digital release, and it helped build interest around the single.

EMP is one of several units within ZEROBASEONE, the boy group that formed through the Mnet survival show Boys Planet. Units give members a chance to work on projects with a different focus from the full group, and EMP has already shared concept material and a sketch film from its unit mixtape, which signals a more experimental side of the project.

Dynamicduo, made up of Choiza and Gaeko, brings a long track record in Korean hip-hop to the single. Pairing the duo with a unit from a K-pop group gives “RUN” a sound that differs from the typical group release, and the collaboration is likely to appeal to listeners who follow both hip-hop and idol music.

The announcement has drawn attention from fans, who have been following EMP’s solo-style releases closely. Because “RUN” is a digital single rather than a full album, it is a focused project, and it offers a clear look at what the unit can do when it works with outside artists.

The single arrives during a busy November for K-pop, with many groups and solo artists preparing new music. Fans who want to keep track of EMP can follow the unit’s official channels for chart results, music video details and any further dates, since the source article does not list additional plans.
